Driver's License Exams

IMPORTANT NOTICE:
As of April 1, 2009 Rae's Driving School will no longer be able to offer license testing services to any teen who holds a paper permit that was issued PRIOR to August 1, 2008. Rae's Driving School will not be able to offer license testing services to anyone over 18 years of age unless they hold a learners permit that was issued AFTER August 1, 2008. 16 and 17 year old students that hold a learners permit issued AFTER August 1, 2008 WILL be eligible for license testing services at Rae's Driving School.

License tests are arranged by Rae's Driving School. Driver license testing is done at our Madison Location. TESTS ARE OFFERED TO FULL COURSE STUDENTS ONLY ON A FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS ONLY. Call or email us for dates and times. Use of Rae's car for the test is provided.

The following items MUST be dropped off to the driving school:

Check for $75 made payable to Rae's Driving School - NON-REFUNDABLE
Photocopy of permit
A photocopy of parent's drivers license
Recent picture of yourself (class picture) NOT an ID - non-refundable

NOTE: Students may report to Hamden DMV the following day to pick up and pay for license.
